Yesterday – Today – Tomorrow
| 1929 | Bruno Thies establishes the coach company Thies with 2 rented vehicles (“Adler brand”). Soon the fleet is extended by 2 self-constructed vehicles (“Silberpfeile”) that can carry up to 100 passengers each. |
| 1939-1945 | All vehicles are being used by the army due to WWII. |
| ab 1946 | Bruno Thies expands the fleet to 22 vehicles and Thies becomes one of the leading coach companies in Northern Germany. |
| 1982 | Bruno Thies passes away and his daughter Waltraut Schlatermund-Thies takes over the business. |
| 2002 | Mrs Waltraut Schlatermund-Thies retires and Mr Kampmann takes over as Managing Director and shareholder. |
| 2003 | The beginning of an extensive company restructuring – from fleet extensions (purchase of 2 brand new coaches) to regular training programs for office staff and coach drivers. A new modern outward appearance as well as the new company name “Thies B.” are moreover parts of the new “quality offense”. |
| 2008 | The company moves into its new headquarters “on the” Veddel, at Georgwerder Bogen 4. |
